A Roaring 200th
Another contender for upset of the round, the Lions pulled a 5 point
victory over the Cats to celebrate McGrath’s 200th game. The Cats
lead the entire game (with the exception of at the final siren) and led 7.8.50
to 13.10.88 but allowed the Lions to boot 8 goals to 1 in the last quarter and
a report of Stevie J to add to the troubling loss as well, if he loses his
challenge tonight he will miss three weeks.
Best on ground goes to McGrath proving it doesn’t matter how many
possessions you have, it’s how you use those possessions that count: 3 goals
(including the winner), 8 disposals, 5 kicks, 3 handballs, 2 marks and 3
tackles.
The Cats as I said previously play the Dockers so I’m not going through
that again. The Lions play Hawthorn at Aurora Stadium which they should lose,
but that being said they should’ve lost to Geelong and won so they could produce
an upset again.
My tips: 3 from 6 (76 from102 games) (74.5% correct)
