Demonic Possession
So the Demons do know how to play footy. While a 3
point win, especially when you came from 41 points up, is dodging a bullet, it’s
a good start for the Demons who will be looking for their third win of the
season very soon. The Demons took control of the game, never letting the
Bulldogs have a sniff after the first few minutes until the dying minutes of
the game. I didn’t tip them, very few people would’ve, but well done Melbourne,
you deserved the win.
Best on ground is a tie between a small bag and
Dream Teamer. Watts kicked a small 4 goal bag, with 15 disposals, 11 kicks, 4
handballs, 9 marks and 3 tackles. Liberatore for the Bulldogs had a blinder of
a game with 1 behind, 36 disposals, 23 kicks, 13 handballs, 6 marks, 9 tackles
and a total of 144 in Dream Team.
The Demons will have a chance to put up a fight but
probably won’t post a win against the Swans next week while the Bulldogs take
on the Giants in a win for them.
