Power
Charging Up
If you’re not a feral Magpies supporter it always
makes your week when Collingwood lose and the Power really made them look
second rate, outscoring them in every quarter (1st: 4.2.26 to
2.3.15. 2nd: 7.3.45 to 4.5.29. 3rd: 8.6.54 to 5.6.36 and
4th: 13.8.86 to 7.9.51). Collingwood were made to look like they
were a team playing their first or second season and Buckles wouldn’t have
liked it.
The best on ground is also a tie between two
players you would’ve wanted in your Dream Team. Seedsman of the Magpies 2
behinds, 34 disposals, 22 kicks, 12 handballs, 15 marks, 3 tackles and totalled
a Dream Team score of 148. Then there’s the Power’s Ebert with 1 goal, 30
disposals, 22 kicks, 8 handballs, 9 marks, 6 tackles and a total score in Dream
Team of 137.
The Power have a chance to really show what they can
do Essendon at Etihad Stadium next week while Collingwood have a chance to end
a losing streak before it starts against Carlton on Friday Night at the MCG.
My tips: 2 from 4
