Saturday Afternoon: Richmond Tigers vs. Adelaide Crows

Tigerland Dominance

If Adelaide walked into the MCG with hopes of redemption after their nightmare loss to the Swans, they got the exact opposite in Tigerland. The Tigers led at every change, they held a strong lead of 9.7.61 to 5.4.34 at halftime and stretched that to a commanding lead of 11.10.76 to 6.10.46 by three-quarter time, all hope for the Crows gone at that point.

Deledio was best on ground for the Tigers with 28 disposals, 23 kicks, 5 handballs, 9 marks and 5 tackles. Martin and Riewoldt both kicking small bags of 4 and 3 goals respectively but didn’t play what would be called an impressive game.

The Tigers now look to take the Bulldogs, which is a very winnable game, next week. The Crows on the other hand have a bye to find a way to beat a dangerous looking Suns side at Metricon, could be another upset for the Suns.

My tips: 2 from 2
