Crows
Caw on the Gold Coast
It was thought to be a
close one and it certainly turned out to be a close game and, while 28 points
isn’t exactly a competitive game, it was a close game for the most part. The Suns
led at quarter-time 3.5.23 to 1.4.10 then the Crows led at every other change
8.7.55 to 5.11.41 then 11.10.76 to 9.14.68 then finally 16.15.111 to 11.17.83
so the Suns really only got torn apart in the last quarter.
It’s a tie for best on
ground between a player kicking a small bag and another one putting on a master
class of possessing the ball. Super-sub Wright is best on ground for the Crows with
a four goal bag, 16 disposals, 9 kicks, 7 handballs and 2 marks. Prestia for
the Suns however put on a show that clinical when he had the ball with 2 goals,
42 disposals, 24 kicks, 18 handballs, 7 marks, 4 tackles and was definitely someone
you would’ve wanted in your Dream Team totaling 157.
The Suns play a winnable
game against the Lions at the Gabba next week while the Crows square off
against West Coast in a close encounter at AAMI which is a must win for both
sides who are running out of chances to make a late charge for the eight.
My tips (after
switching from a draw): 2 from 3
