Cats Purrfect in front of
Suns
The Cats are
celebrating their temporary position at the top of Ladder (Hawthorn play later
today) after belting Gold Coast by 52 points. They had to pile on 9 goals in a
10 goal final term to do it after scores were level at three quarter time
(9.10.64 each). As predicted, the suns led for a small patch in the third
quarter but were unable to stop a Cats side that was intent on avoiding
humiliation.
The Cats face
the winless Giants next week while the Suns will face North Melbourne which is
a winnable game for them given North’s current habit of losing the fourth quarter.
