North Blinded by Suns in the
Wet
Well I picked
it. Still it was probably the upset of the round, though the rain throughout
the game probably influenced the result a little bit. The Suns were dominated
in the 1st 0.1.1 to 4.2.26 but then North managed only 4 goals in
the next three quarters while the Suns used the quarters to pile on 9 goals. The
Suns lead by 4 points at halftime 5.6.36 to 5.2.32 and after that, North never
really fought back, allowing the Suns to lead them by 11 points at
three-quarter time and ultimately win 9.12.66 to 8.3.51 by 15 points a low
scoring game.
Ignoring Gablett
who always does well best on ground for the Suns was Harbrow with 30 disposals,
15 kicks, 15 handballs, 2 marks, 5 tackles and 1 goal 1 behind for the game.
The Suns play
Essendon next week which they probably won’t win but make it close while North have
a bye to prepare for a match against a Fremantle side which (even I as an
Eagles supporter have to admit) is the strongest that’s been seen ever from
that club.
My tips: 4 from
